ALEC, has claimed the most coveted prize of Construction Week Awards 2020 three years in a row – the Contractor of the Year Award.
Competing in such a competitive environment, ALEC stood out to the judges for its sustainable growth, successful project delivery and probably most importantly for 2020, it’s COVID-19 crisis management. In addition, the team was also praised for entering into the Saudi Arabia market for the first time after opening an office in Riyadh.
Commenting on picking up the award for the third consecutive year, ALEC’s CEO, Kez Taylor, told Construction Week:
“It’s awesome to win the Contractor of the Year award for three years in a row. Construction is a very tough industry and I think to succeed, you need great people, and you need people to pull together, have fun and figure out how you succeed in this tough environment. I think we are really fortunate that we have great people.”
In addition, ALEMCO was awarded MEP Contractor of the Year, Rade Miljanovic received Highly Commended Engineer of the Year and the HSE team received Highly Commended HSE Initiative of the Year.
